Volusia County Judge Chris Miller Takes Stryker for a Ride

OT Training Solutions hosted Judge Chris Miller at the company’s facility in DeBary, Fla. Judge Miller had a rare opportunity to experience some unique training developed and delivered to the U.S. military.

Sitting in the driver compartment, then later in the gunner station, he experienced first-hand how Army Soldiers are trained to operate the Stryker Remote Weapon Station (RWS) prior to qualifications and training exercises. The tabletop, stand-alone training device also teaches how to identify and engage enemy targets.

CEO Marion Owens said, “It is important that we help community leaders understand the impact of the training and simulations that are being built and deployed right here in Central Florida. We were happy to host Judge Miller and provide a window into his understanding of how some Soldiers are training and how that training can be deployed throughout the U.S. and abroad.”
