OTTS Executive Team
Marion Owens, President/CEO, is a retired U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel. As CEO, Marion's role is to implement the strategic goals and objectives of the organization. He develops and leads client marketing strategies and oversees the execution of all programs necessary to drive growth while meeting sales goals and client objectives.

After retiring from the military, Marion worked for Lockheed Martin where he served in various positions of increasing responsibility. After 6 years with Lockheed Martin, he was hired by Raydon Corporation, where he quickly moved up the chain of command to the level of Executive Vice President. He was instrumental in growing Raydon from a small company with a $2 million annual revenue to a company of over 300 employees and sales in excess of $50 million a year.

Following 10 successful years at Raydon, Marion decided it was time for a new challenge and along with partner Kris Thorpe formed OT Training Solutions.

Kristopher Thorpe, VP/CFO, is a retired US Army Senior Non Commissioned Officer. Kris's role at OT Training Solutions is the place where it “all comes together”. As the Chief Financial Officer, he controls and implements the company's financial plans to include billing, payroll, health and dental care, insurance, taxes etc. He is also responsible to ensure all programs are cost effective for the customer by eliminating unnecessary costs. The Program Managers report directly to him on issues pertaining to program budgets and cost analysis.

Kris brings over 20 years of leadership and marketing experience to OT Training Solutions. As a retired Airborne Infantry Senior Non Commissioned Officer he is solidly grounded in training. While employed at Raydon Corporation he quickly moved from scenario designer to tackle business development and program management roles. Ultimately he was given responsibility for all contracts with Raydon's largest customer, the Army National Guard.
